I recently tried this on a tiny with common habitable planets map and it worked fairly well and easily. I was the war party and i put up all the bonuses that i could that dealt with war. then as soon as i could i mass produced star fighters and transports. I then dominated the galaxy shortly cuz my fighters were awesome early game with all the bonuses. the aliens were only on normal intel and i wonder if anyone has tried this with the higher level intels and if so, has it worked??

It's never worked for me, but that's probably because I'm not good at war. I can blow up ships like nobody's business, but bringing it together into a tool to defeat the AI, that doesn't come together well for me.
