Background Bleed-through

Just purchased the game the other day, and it ran slow, but fine. Then I downloaded the update to 1.5, and now I am seeing jaggy sections of the blue background "poke through" the states as I pan around the map. I hadn't made any settings changes and I was just wondering if there was any way to fix this.

Can you post the contents of your debug.err file?  It can be opened with Notepad and is located here: "documents/my games/PolMachine2008/debug.err".  This file will have general system information as well as game messages that can help us track down your issue.
