Serial too old? Registration issues

Can't run IconDeveloper or SkinStudio 6 Pro

I can't run IconDeveloper or SkinStudio 6 Pro.  It asks for email and serial to activate (they both did install).  I give it my ObjectDesktop Ultimate serial and email associated with it, but it gets an activation error.  Could this be because my serial number is so old?  I originally got ObjectDesktop many, many years ago, and the serial number is not at all like the newer numbers Stardock uses.

Try looking at your product registrations in Impulse to find your current OD serial number.  You can also find your registartions on the WC Home Page in Settings (near your login).

Thanks, I am using the info from the Impulse registration page.  Still no luck.  I can tell you that my serial starts SU-, mught that be an issue?  Mind you, I'm using the serial for Object Desktop Ultimate, as I get the products via that.  Should I have another serial number?

If you are using the OD Ultimate Serial number you found in your Impulse Registartions with your current email id for Stardock.net to register IconDeveloper SKS Pro then that is correct.  Since that isn't working for you then you need to contact support@stardock.com and explain the problem you're having with these products failing to activate.  They'll have to research why it's failing.

Thanks.  Would you mind clearly stating what should work to register IconDeveloper and SkinStudio 6 Pro?  I need to point out that I have a different email address for my Impulse/Stardock.net account registration than I have for my Object Desktop Ultimate.  My Impulse/Stardock.net email is one I used mostly in the 90's, I switched my Object Desktop Ultimate email to a newer one.  So, I'm not sure which email should work, though I have tried both.

Activation is done with your Stardock.net account email id.  You really need to contact support@stardock.com to get useful assistance in getting these products activated.  They need to see what's happening with your account on Stardock's servers.  I've given you as much information as I possibly can.

Step 1).  Verify you have the correct Object Desktop Serial Number in Impulse Registrations.  Click on the Key icon found on upper right of Impulse.

Step 2). Verify you are using the Stardock.net email id.  Click on edit Stardock.net account Button found on the Impulse Registrations screen you opened in step 1).

Step 3). Start IconDeveloper the activation window will pop up.

Step 4) Input your Stardock.net email id

Step 5) Input your Object Desktop Serial Number you found in Impulse Registrations in Step 1).

If this doesn't work contact support@stardock.com and explain the situation in your email.  Reference this thread.

I sent an email to Stardock support.  Hopefully I'll hear Monday or Tuesday, though Tuesday is a holiday.
