Multiple quotes not closing

I've found that if I wanted to put two or more quotes in a reply, the first ones never closes, so I get a big jumble.

For example, my reply #42 on this thread:

https://forums.galciv2.com/326576/page/2

I originally hit quote for reply 41, it game the person's name and such as part of the string, I typed in a reply to that and posted it.  I then saw something else I wanted to reply to, but didn't wish to make a 2nd post for it, so I hit quote to make a new replay, copy that text, edited my reply 42 and pasted it in and gave a reply to that.  It all jumbled up like the following, until I removed the extended quote portion to just make it open with quote and close with /quote

Ok, quotes didn't work in my OP, so here's the jumble

I'd like trading ships to automatically go and create trade routes, since apparently the game tells me private companies are using them. Why am I then having to do the grunt work for them?

The liklihood of establishment should be on interstellar relations. Friendly places get more routes!

Allow AI suirprase atacks, where first shot or invasion would mean a war declaration.

By removing the author/reply# info, I turned it into this

Required format, of course without the spaces in the code blocks.

[ quote ]text to quote[ quote ] next text[ quote ] next text[ /quote ][ /quote ][ /quote ]

Which will look like so, as in Bichur's reply

text to quote
next text
next text

That last bit I had in my reply was what I want to pull off, but with the author/reply info.  With just the plain quote and /quote it can be done, but add in the additional quote information like when you just hit quote to a post, that's when it bugs out.

The bugged setup would be this, w/o the spaces:

[ quote who="hiddenranbir" reply="16" id="1900361" ] text to quote first [ /quote ] my reply to first [ quote who="G'Kar" reply="14" id="1900289" ] text to quote second [ /quote ] my reply

So, w/o spaces it comes to this:

Quoting hiddenranbir, reply 16
text to quote first
my reply to first
Quoting G'Kar, reply 14
text to quote second
my reply to second

Yep, does not seem to like two quotes with the quoting info attached.
