Every Time I try to start the game crashes "failed to initialize display".

My Computer:

Windows XP SP3

AMD Athlon4000+

1 GB RAM

ATI Radeon x1600pro (Catalyst 8.8)

Can you post from your debug.err (my documents/my games/polmachine2008/debug.err).  We can get a better look at what's going on from there :)
