The ships on my game are not textured. They are simply white with a few strips of color. I have all the latest video drivers. What's up?
nVidia GeForce4 MX420 64MB.
I seem to recall at one time all the ship textures were there. I may be misremembering. . . but I think I might have downloaded a couple mods and they killed them.
Wierd thing is though I've not only completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game since then. . . I've also had the hard drive completely wiped and the OS reinstalled. So it can't be anything lingering from that if that was what it was. . .
That card is only DX 7 capable, so it may not be able to handle the textures.
Try the workaround described in reply #2 of this thread if you want to try and get textures working without buying a new video card.
