Impulse keeps telling me i need to update deskscapes, but i cant because i have not registered my copy. i have windows vista ultimate so i downloaded the free version. how do i find, or what is, the serial number for the free version of this product so i can register it with my account?

As of right now the Vista Ultimate version of DeskScapes hasn't been updated to this new method.  The reason you're seeing an update is available is that the free Ultimate version is 1.2 and the latest version of DeskScapes that works with all versions of Windows Vista is 2.0.  Impulse is detecting you have DeskScapes installed, and sees that it's an older version.  I'll have to talk with the devs on Monday to get this sorted, but in the meantime you can simply hide the update.  DeskScapes 1.2 is the latest version you'll need if you're a Vista Ultimate user (like yours truely  )

Ok, in regards to this, I have Windows Vista Ultimate, and Object Desktop Ultimate, which came with Deskscapes. Deskscapes is not saying it needs to be updated or anything. However, in my list of registrations codes (within Impulse), my Deskscapes is coming up with "Invalid Code". I'm not really sure what was there --- I probably had my Object Desktop Ultimate serial there. I have seen the threads for downloading/registering the free products, and have done that for a couple of items. Would this also apply to Deskcapes? Or how do I get a valid code?
