ObjectDock, force a dock to show/expand?

Communicate to a dock from another program

Hi

I have a tabbed dock that is always on top and autohides. My question is it somehow possible to through e.g; WinAPI (SendMessage or PostMessage) to make my dock show it self without actually clicking on it?

Dave.

Like a hotkey?  I don't think OD supports that.  The only thing you can do is set up a hotspot, so when you put your mouse in that hotspot, the dock comes up.  My tabbed docks come up over a maximized window when I mouse over the area that they are in.  I don't have hotspots setup so I have to be really close to them, but with a hotspot, you just have to be in the general area.

Something like that, yeah. I know it can be done with hotspots but I'm looking for a way to do it without hotspots.

It's not.  But, it sounds like a good suggestion so swing over to this thread I started awhile back and put it in there.  The developer checks in here once in awhile.  https://forums.wincustomize.com/167382
