Looking for newbie guides

from GalCiv2 Forums

In the days of GC 1 there used to be quite some extensive strategy guides floating around and I am sure there are some for GC 2 as well, but are there also guides available which incorporate TA?

I am starting out newly again with GC2TA after having been away from this game for quite some time and I always enjoyed setting the first steps reading a strategy guide.

If there is one (or more) could you please point me towards them?

There is a TA 101 post here

And any other issues can be resolved by asking a question on these forums....we don't bite :wulf:  

I don't think the search function works well yet (haven't tried it recently though) so just by going to google and typing in the thing you are looking for followed by what is in quotes here "site:https://forums.galciv2.com".  It'll search for that word on these forums.  99% of the users on these forums though aren't too "tight" to say "well, why did you search bonehead", so we'd answer it even if we see the question every week |-)

I know this is a friendly community, but indeed I do not wish to become known as the guy who asks all the stuff that can easily be found. ;)

Am I correct that Stardock is planning to include an updated manual with the next patch?

That's what I've heard.  They were supposta post a journal with the 2.0 changes a week or so ago, but I think someone went home sick and never posted it lol.
