Is renewal necessary?

On my registration page I see that for ThinkDesk the expiration date is "september 30, 2008". Nevertheless in the shop there does not seem to be a renewal option. Therefor: do I need to renew or is the "ThinkDesk is currently in beta. You will continue to get free updates for 1 year after the actual "release" of it." still in force?

I have been told that the expiry dates will be updated so do not worry about the date it is currently displaying.
