you can contact stardock and they will provide the means for you to download the versions of the apps current when your subscription expired. you can download those versions and use them.

You used to be able to get each application that was released when your subscription was valid (not the latest version though, the one that was current at the time your subscription expired). And the text on this page seems to confirm that.

Did you used Impulse when trying to redownload your application? Maybe it doesn't support expired subscriptions yet. You might want to try with Stardock Central. Also did you try to contact support or sales? They will be able to help clear the issue with you.

This is a good time to remind ODNT users that they are responsible for archiving their applications and restoring through either SDC or Impulse.

If you bought a CD of Tie Fighter (an incredible game) and then lost that CD the vendor (LucasArts before they sucked) would have no obligation to send you a new disk.

This is the same thing.

Thankfully, Stardock does not suck.  Following Snidely's advice should get you hooked up.  support@stardock.com.

Oh . . and being pissed off doesn't typically solve situations.  Rational discussion does.  :)

Yes I was able to get in touch with support and got my problem resolved it was just a headache in the process and as far a being pissed off I think we are all entitled to it every once in a while.

Sincerely,
Not pissed off anymore :)
