linking techs with improvments?

how do i link custom techs with custom improvements? like a certain improvement wont be available untill the tech is researched? and also i am having trouble getting rid of a way overpowered improvement i made just for fun :P if u could help with that too id greatly apriciate it thx g2g first day of school and such

It's just a matter of putting the tech's name in the <S_TechRequirement> tag on the improvement.
