applying skin difficulties

no matter what skin i apply (except XP) it looks like classic,  if i go into desktop properties and go to appearence,  it shows that i have the skin applied and in that window it looks liek the skin i have loaded,   whats going on???

What skinning software are you using? MyColors? WindowBlinds? What is the system information for each of them (found under settings).

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on "System info" then click the "Copy text" button. Paste that info here.
