Deskscapes note working at all???

Hello all, i just downloaded object desktop premium package and i cannot get deskcapes to work at all. Basically i open deskcapes and i can see the basica wallpapers that came with the program, when i got to select one of them (tried all), nothing happens. I double click the icon to load say the bouncing ball demo and nothing happens. I right click the icon and pick 'select' and nothing happens, i right click the icon and select 'set as background' and nothing happens. Oh why oh why does nothing work? having all sorts of problems with themese not loading as well. i am running windows vista premium home edition with 2g of ram, nvidia video card on an hp pavilion. any suggestions or support would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Okay so i feel slightly retarded, but here is a good tip for all vista users trying out Impulse and installing object desktop through impulse for the first time.....

MAKE SURE YOU RUN IMPULSE AS ADMINISTRATOR (dont just right click icon). otherwise programs will show they are installing HOWEVER, they will not fully install the .dll files which will prevent deskcapes from running as well as window blinds from installing skins (which is why some ppl may notice windows defaults to original windows tasbar skins when applying new themes...because the skins arent actually isntalled).

so i hope my trial and error can help others...everything works great nwo.

This should not be neccessary.  Can you email support@stardock.com and reference this thread so they can see what went wrong and how it might be fixed for other users?

Thank you zubaz. I am also working with Iamdean from stardock to hopefully figure out what is different about my system (posted in another thread relating to impulse).

FYI, now i do not need to specifically select run as admin...it seems i only need to do this when i plan to instal something new from impulse.
