Default combat ships not showing up

None of the predesigned combat ships appear in my shipbuilding list.  I have all the defense techs and most of the offense techs and each time I do get a new tech that lists a default ship design, it says I need "More Miniaturization Needed".  I have all the Miniaturization techs.  Any ideas?

There is a button on the Options/Game menu that reads: 'Auto design ships for player'. Try clicking that. I have that option enabled and ships appear for me.

This is for ToA, I'm not sure if DL or DA has it.

TA only gives you the basic ships and templates. It's up to you to load'em up!

Xrati, actually you can use autodesigned ships. They seem to have a lot more space than the ones you can make, basically forcing you to use them to get the most out of your ships. I find that stupid and unfortunate, but that's how it is.

That's true Galefury, but DasHeretic was looking for the old hull styles that came on DL and DA. Those ships are no longer in the templates.
