Moving between primary/secondary screens results in the mouse doing a vertical jump (not a normal straight horizontal transition)

Hey guys,

Have an issue where when I move the mouse from the primary machine (2 x 30" LCD) to the secondary machine (2 x 20" LCD in portrait - side by side) as the mouse moves over to the first 20" screen it doesn't move across perfectly horizontal but actually jumps down a few inches and like wise when coming back across from the secondary to the primary screens.

Any suggestions to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated thanks.

P.S we had a similar issue where if the secondary machine (2 x 20" LCD landscape) was setup in a stacked position (one on top of the other) however we resolved this by setting the top monitor to number 1 and manually moving the taskbar down to the bottom monitor and this resolved the vertical jump the mouse makes as you move across to either the primary or secondary screen.

if you are using two differnet size monitors then i think the jump is normal.

for example you move you mouse one inch down from the top of the 30'' screen to the 20'' then it will appear one inch down from the top. but since the 20'' is shorter it runs out of screen before the 30'' my primary is a pc with a 17''(not widescreen) and my laptop is also a 17'' (but widescreen) and the gap seems to be just that the edges of the screens are not the exact same lenght. if i understand your problem then this should explain it

so it seems multiplicity continues the mouse path based on the distance fromt he top of the screen so to speak and if you are using 2 different size monitors then it will look like its off and you will see a jump.

mouse goes from second line of the bigger screen at point A to smaller screen at point B not at one line form the top. looks like a jump

=====================            up with goes here

mouse goes from second line of the bigger screen at point A to smaller screen at point B one line form the top. looks fine but the smaller screen will run out of screen before the bigger one..

maybe multiplicity should have a feature to switch it to measure from the bottom of the screen because my laptop screen is lower than the PC sreen since it sits on my desk the botom of my laptop screen lines up witht he nottom of my PC screen but the tops do not.

there could also be a feature to measure distance from the middle of the screen incase yourse was like this,,

  bigger screen                                  smaller screen
