sdmcp

taskbar problem

Hi,

I have recently started having a problem when windows XP SP3 starts - the taskbar is inaccessible

 because  the cursor is always an hourglass. I have found that if I kill the sdmcp process the taskbar becomes active.

Can you suggest a solution please?
