Options Page: can someone please tell me what is "min ships in orbit before..."

When you go to the options page (I forget Interface or some other category) there is something called "minimum ships in orbit before..." and it's cut off.  Can someone please tell me what that regulates?  Thanks!!

It's supposed to be "min ships in orbit before autolaunch". It sets how many defenders will be left in orbit before new construction is autolaunched (if that option is selected). You're getting cut off due to your screen resolution setting - I don't remember exactly what setting(s) have this issue, but yours is apparently one of them. There's another topic about this problem around here somewhere  :)
