Bootskin display colors

Boot Screen colours not like preview colors

I have colour problems, eh! My bootskins on boot up, (and I noticed on other ocassions such as boot up discs), are nowhere close to the colours displayed when I look at the bitmaps in my XP environmnent. I have looked in my bios and find no colour palettes or monitor adjustments. I run a dual monitor display with a MSI Radeon X1550 graphics card. Anyone got any tips on this one?

PS When I reviewed the title I removed the u in colours in the title to make it searchable? Force of habit, eh!

bootskins are 4bit (16 color) palettes 640x480

background color palette (16 color index)and the progress bar palette must match exactly.As in exact same colors,same number and palette order. :) 

Use Bootskin buddy...it wont let you mix them up.
