question about ship styles and empire logos

q1:as i make my own empire i see a tab called create own ship style but the buttin doenst' work do i need a special program for that

q2:i downloaded afew new Empire logos for galciv2 but where must i extract them?

plz answer these question i am really hopeless seeking the answers on my own :s

Q2:
Put logos here:
My Documents > My Games > Twilight of the Arnor > GFX > Logos
The 'logos' will be your icons on the map.
There is also:
My Documents > My Games > Twilight of the Arnor > GFX > portraits
These will be what a race looks like when you talk to then

NOTE: ALL images must be saved as a PNG file(or it will not work) and not be more than 150X150 in size.

The create custom ship style button is disabled when editing a player race because it's only really intended for the AI. It lets you set templates you've made previously in-game to the AI ship classes, so you can determine how they look when the AI builds its ships.

It can be shoehorned into working for the player to some degree though, see the sticky about creating player-usable ship styles in the modding forum.

i don't have twilight of arnor i use dark avatar yet my pc doesn't find any directory called logos in GFX must i create one?

Hmmmmmm, I'm not sure. Its been a while since I played DA. I can't remember off the top of my head where they go for DA. I know its a different placement though cuz I do have custom pics put in for DA. When I get home from work I'll look it up.

It's the same for DA, but in My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar instead.
