Help! Not sure how to deal with All Programs "button"

NB: Using SKS6

Here we go: I gave my All Programs a background which appears (most of the time) when I apply the skin. However, I don't know what to do about the blue "highlight" on mouse over...I don't know what I need to change... :SNIFF!:

If anyone could be so kind to explain I'd be most grateful.

Thanks a bunch in advance  ;)

Are you making a skin or just using one? The all programs color mouseover exists in most skins, you can actually make the all programs arrow a large image to take its place but it's a little tricky and it will cause problems on systems that dont use english language.

Hi! I'm making one. I tried mega button but doesn't seem to work...what I'd love is not to get a highlight on mouse over at all...I found the skin colour scheme thingy but can only change it not tell it to go to hell...also, since I've changed the colour (just to see what would happen) the "highlight" covers the text as well i.e. mouse over, goodbye text hello big coloured rectangle...no fun

It would be great if I could simply avoid any mouse over effect.

Thanks a bunch ;)

Here's what I do:
Go to change skin colours. Click on the drop down menu and select show me the skin defined system colours. If you make the Menu highlight the same color as the more programs background, the mouseover will not show up.
Note: this will only work if you have a solid color in the more programs background

also, since I've changed the colour (just to see what would happen) the "highlight" covers the text as well i.e. mouse over, goodbye text hello big coloured rectangle...no fun

I'm gonna guess that you have the text in the more programs background set to the same color as the menu highlight?
You can change the text color by clicking on the text tab in the more programs section. Where is says state to modify:, there is a dropdown menu where you can change the text color on mouseover.

Thanks so much for your time, both of you :D

I solved it by going mad with the margins for 4 days. My button background is not a solid colour, so any solid higlight looked not so good...also, the highlight was not the same colour as the text, it was just SKS going bonkers on me :(
Matters not, thanks again for your help.
