Can't launch the program

GC2 launch has stopped working

I am running Vista, plenty of memory and updated drivers and just installed GalCivII. Every time I try to launch the program I get the error message GC2 launch has stopped working. Any ideas? Thanks

There are a variety of reasons the launcher might fail (antivirus interfering, MSXML issues, etc). The simplest resolution is to just skip the launcher and run the game directly; just update your shortcut's path to GalCiv2.exe instead of GC2Launch.exe (or similarly for DA/TA).

I'm runing xp and for me it goes to a black screen with the Gal Civ mouse active and then crashis back to windows without saying anything. Any ideas? I allready tryed what you said up above.
