Since this is a beta release candidate I would suggest uninstalling it and then install the current release version. Make sure AV and firewall are disabled during the install.

Did that, so I am back to 6.10. Only wierd that stardock messes that up. Never had problems with wb updates. By the way it tried to load wbinstall32.exe inside of documents and settings\allusers\documents\stardock\windows blinds\wb32install.exe, but this file is in the programms folder and not in the skinfolder.

Hmmm, I downloaded that update last night without any problems. I'm on an XP Home system.

How are you getting the update, through SDC or Impulse?

Wonder if you were just getting a bad download?  :NOTSURE:

SDC actually shows version 6.20.086 instead of the release candidate
