Icon problem

I have the free version of OD and use it at work and at home. The problem started a few weeks after I installed it on my home computer. For some reason it loads the task bar up with OD icons. There may be only 15 things in the dock itself, but there may be 20 icons in the task bar. Once I got the bright idea to close each icon individually on the task bar by right clicking, then close, and when I checked I only had 3 items left on the dock. (I still had icons in the taskbar, but don't remember how many.)
I don't have any problem with it at work. I used the same file for install for both. The main difference is at work I use 1 monitor, and at home I have a dual set up. It does the same thing no matter which monitor I have it set for. I have tried changing all the settings, putting them back, etc, and still get the same thing. It started out only showing 4 icons, then if I would use it, I would have 8, then next time I would get more. Now, even after a reboot, it opens up with about 20 in the task bar.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
