Is it possible to recover Object Desktop from a OS reinstall?

Well, I puchased Object Desktop back in march, but around May my whole system crashed and I had to reinstall my whole OS without being able to uninstall the Object Desktop doftware. I've still got ther serial number, along with my purchase invoice, but when I tried to set Object Desktop back up after the reinstall, it said that my object desktop username was already in use. Is there any way can regain access to it anymore?

go to support.stardock.com and enter your email address you used when buying object desktop. an email message will be sent to you with a link to download impulse and your serial number. install impulse, enter the serial number, and you're off to the races.

Alright, I just downloaded impulse, but for some reason it's saying that my serial is invalid. I know I put it in correctly, since I cut and pasted it from the mail stardock sent me. Could this be because I was unable to uninstall Object Desktop when my computer crashed?

chekc to make sure the cut/paste didn't throw an extra space at the end

Ah, ditto I found out what it was. I still had the old stardock central lurking around my hard drive (I guess they replaced it with impulse) and after I uninstalled that everything went okay. Now all I've gotta do is find my backup CD that had all my old windowblinds themes. They don't have the slick aero-style windowblind that I downloaded a few months ago anymore. Anyhow thanks a bunch for helping me out guys, I thought I was gonna be out of $50.

Use the Archive feature then put that folder onto a cd or dvd, make 2 copies in case one of em becomes scratched badly, saving the archive will enable you to reinstall back to before a reformat, you'll need to update the archive periodically for the updates for the apps
