Difference between Windowblinds and MyColors?

I was wondering if there is a difference between Windowblinds and MyColors. I was contemplating downloading the free version of WindowBlinds, thewn I came across MyColors. What is the difference? Is there a price for for MyColors? Also, I was prompted to download Stardock Central when I logged in for the first time? What is that for? Thanks in advance !!

Windowblinds is a software to load windows skins which are mainly of .wba format. It doesnt changes icons and doesnt provide you gadgets. With this software you can enjoy thousands of free skins which are available on the WC gallery and can buy some premium skins. To change icons you will need a different software i.e. iconpackager
MyColors is a total GUI change. It can change icons, windows skins, provide you some cool gadgets. Mycolors themes are made by stardock. Only few are available for free, rest you have to buy.

If you want the GUI to change with a click and dont want to get into its making then mycolors is a good choice. WindowBlinds and mycolors both can run at the same time without any problem. So my advice use WB all the time and load mycolors when you like a particular theme on it.

WindowBlinds is free, MyColors cost to download? I am guessing that MyColors is fairly new and there aren't too many free themes yet?

WindowBlinds has a 30 day trial, then must buy if you like and want to use it. MyColors can be downloaded free and has 3 free themes, after that themes for MyColors are $20 each.

Fairly new but there will never be many free themes, different market target than WindowBlinds.
