Should it be possible to have the version number somewhere in the "About" Window ?  :d

This fix has not worked for me. Same problem as before where all skins revert to classic.

Impulse will display the current version number that is available. You can also get this information on the settings tab under the system information button. It is grouped with the rest of the system info of your install.

Well, i've said it a lot of times, Impulse is showing that there's a MyColors update version avaible as MyColors has just been updated to the latest version. It would be a point to fix  :d

And another point, when updating and / or launching MyColors, the setting in Windowblinds to display Windowblinds icon in systray revert to blank  (:(

Hi,

I applied think green theme through My colors & then the visual style through Blinds, all is fine except for colores lines in the explorer. I am a noob in case of skinning. I bought the ultimate just 2-3 days back & the learning curve to use this software has been very difficult for me. So any help welcome. I am a bit flustered with all this versioning/compatibility issues.

Attaching both the system info for my colors & windows blinds

I reformatted again, only installed Object Desktop, and updated MyColors immediately... yet nothing works! Not one of the Blinds or MyColors themes is displaying correctly. They all go through the application screen and then my Windows task bar disapears and is replaced with a non-functioning classic bar. This is extremely frustrating and I don't know what is happening. Am I the only incident of this occurance? What possible options do I have to fix this besides?

Two things I'm going through with Think Green for XP:

A. The transparency for my windows explorer background is extremely grainy looking. But, Think Green is the only blinds in my collection that has this problem.

B. The weather widget that comes with Think Green is installed on my system, but it's never worked. Even after reinstalling the entire theme and clearing my widget cache, I cannot get it to show. But it does appear as running in my widget manager.

Again, Think Green is the only component set from My Colors that's having any kind of problems for me.

All suggestions are welcome at this point.

Thanx...

Did you install WindowBlinds?  If so can you check for a c:\program files\stardock\object desktop\windowblinds folder?  If one does not exist, please update MyColors again then re-install WB6.

Thanks for the help Zargon. Following your advise, I just checked both Impulse and SDC but see no updates as of yet for the latest WinndowBlinds version 6.10b [b].146 last updated 7/15/08. And yes, I am checked to show pre-release versions.

Am I missing a step here or is this a "coming soon" future availability?

Also if I may, have you heard any consistency or theory with the Think Green Weather Widget not functioning on XP? This is what I'm going through along with the Think Green Blind. Please let me know if I should direct this issue to support or not.

I'm really looking forward to resolving this and I am much obliged to you for your help Sir.

Hi, I used myclours and applied the diamond theme. All works well until the next day when my right click menus all go black and cannot see the writing on them. If I reapply the diamond theme in mycolours its OK again until the next day.

Can you post the system info here? Also what version of WindowBlinds is installed (if it is)?

 :SURPRISED: UPDATE :SURPRISED:

It's most unfortunate but installing the latest version of WindowBlinds did not correct the explorer background issue I'm experiencing with the Think Green theme.

Also the Think Green weather widget is still not functioning for me as well. I did uninstall, reboot, then reinstalled DesktopX out of desperation, but no go with the TG weather.

I am open to all suggestions.

Thanks for the help...
