Drinky drinky

Forgy Forgy

So, I'm blasted on about seven or eight shots of J & B rare (it doesn't take much, i'm a teetotaler, also, how often do you get to use an ampersand?), and I'm blogging. Good idea, right?

And in other news, my new furnace works so-so. Orange hot very quickly (bout 15,1600 degrees, but not yellow dammit. Bout 1900, see article from aug 31, 05 or 06), poured some lead, failed to melt copper, and forged a kick-ass chisel out of grounding rod with a sweet copper sheath, and similarly mixed copper and steel jewelry with dolomite (green copper ore) on twisted copper wire. Artsy stuff. Maybe the furnace will work better with a better chimney pipe. More to follow, plus pictures. Already used the chisel while working on a pullup bar in the backyard. (Before coming home from Iraq, was doing 55 chinups, 150 pushups, 150 situps, and running 'bout 30 miles a week.) So pathetic now. Fatty fat fat fat.

Oh shit, I'm drunk, I'm drunk, I'm so frickin' drunk. I think I'll watch a bad movie and drink til I throw up or pass out. Hello kitty. Literally, my cat Euripides. Meow!

Hi JU, what are you drinking? Maybe a wake up Dr. Pepper with the scotch. Love ya guys!

P.S. Never drink and work metal. Bad bad bad bad bad idea. I've already got two 2nd degree blisters and am missing some hair because I'm a dumbass. More Scotch now. Makes my life more Happy!!! Bye!

ha ha - forget drunk dialing - drunk blogging is the way to go - BUT I have to say that next time I would stay away from open heat sources.

And I can't even do one pull up?  Who can do pull ups?

I can. Even drunk apparently. There were no heat sources. Just blogging about two things at once and too drunk at the time to keep them seperate properly.

I can. At least, I think I can. I don't have anything sturdy enough around my dwelling, but I used to be able to do at least one or two at a gym.

Made this one a couple of days ago out of leftovers. A couple of 4x4s, part of a 2x4, and some old fence pipe, plus some cement I got for the furnace.

I was using a circular bit that wasn't long enough for the pipe, so I'd drill an inch or two in the 4x4, then use the chisel to chip out the wood once the sides were cut by the drill.

Everything ok? Not that it's any of my business, LOL, but I can't help but care.

What is this Boondock of which you speak? Come on, man. Next you'll be asking me if I've ever seen Army of Darkness. Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes.
