OMG See-Through Planets

Hi, im new to SoaSE and I love it. I have it installed on 2 computers. On 1 computer it works all fine-and-dandy, but on this one, when i start up a game, I can see-through all of the planets, and I was like WTF. I dont know if this is hardware error or some option i can turn on/off, although i looked in options ad couldnt find out how to turn it off so i guess it graphics glitch. Please help...

SYSTEM SPECS: 2.2ghz Intel Pentinum 4 CPU, 768mb RAM DDR2, Nvidia Geforce 4 4200 TI.  Help would be appreciated!

That graphics card is (to put it bluntly) is hideously old. I wouldn't really recommend running the game with it as you would struggle to get the game going in a playable form.

I had that problem with a Radeon 9250, with newer ones that doesn't happen.

I wouldn't recommend any game released in the past few years with that video card...
My old 5700LE struggled but couldn't run the latest games at all.

Yes I am aware it's very old. Gameplay is fine, not that much lag, but seeing through planets annoys me. oh well. I'll use other computer but it's annoying when I play lan matches with friends...  :(

Actually i had this issue on my nvidia 8800 GTS, but a restart of the game fixed it.

I had the same problem when I got the game I knew my graphiv card was really old (64mb) but I thought it may just run the game and so it did but ships nearly didn't have any color on them and planets were see-throughable so I got a better graphic card Radeon (can't remember the number) 250 mb and now I vould run the game on very high resolution. So I think it's the problem with your graphic card.
