Huh? System Requirements?

I find this game very interesting and I would like to purchase it, but this is really really bothering me.

 

Everything else for the system req is good as it is, 1.5 GB RAM, 2.53 GHz, but the graphics card? Thats a weird story,

Its minuim is 128 MB video card, and the lowest is a GeForce 6600, but I have a 256 MB Video card, but its a GeForce 6200, can I run this game at all? it seems weird to me...

It should run, the only question is how well it will perform--and for that, the demo can answer. :)

Just don't try and run the setting on high on a large MP game - you will kill everyone else if a big battle breaks out!!! :)

I can run this game on Planet detail highest ship detail high and building detail high without the bloom effect on with teh following specs.

64 mb ati mobility radeon 9600/9700
1gb ram
1.6ghz processor rated at 2.33ghz

Trust me the system reqs are wrong for the game if I can do that with this piece of **** system. Around 40-50 fps without overclocking it with ati tool as well.

I run the game with an Nvid 5700 ultra card and it works fine. Lags in battles with more then 60 ships on zoom though.

Which is what I am worried about as some battles are well north of 100 ships

Lags really are not all that bad though, just happens on zoom. Sacrificing some of the "stunning visuals" for the sake of gameplay is fine by me.

i just bought this game but itkeeps freezing on the screen where it shows, single player / multiplayer/ options etc. do you think its a dodgy game or my comp cant handle it.

the detail of my system are below:
512MB
xp pro (5.1 build2600)
geforce7600

can any1 help me?

yeh i have all the latest drivers, it will load the introduction and that but when you get to the main menu it freezes something about nh4_disp driver crashed :S

EDIT 2: lol, I got them mixed up...I don't know what the problem is, my RAM is 2 GB and the processor is 2.4. I run the game's settings all on highest and it runs perfectly (except in large battles).

Which version, exactly? If you didn't get them directly from nvidia's website, they may not actually be the latest (OEMs and windows update tend to have old versions).

if worst comes to worst, just zoom out and play on your sensor screen depending on the lags during battle or camp spree game :p 

edit: you can always play by using the side icons on your game screen. i do this when i too much enjoy the battle close up in details and manage my empire and fleet coordinations using the side screen icons so you won't have to go back and forth on the planets using your comp screen.

the problem is the game freezes before i get to play it. i cant get past the main menu screen i havnt even played the game yet
