Object Dock 1.9 - Weather Docklet feed not working - Canberra Australia

Hi

I recently installed ObjectDock 1.9 (free version) and to date have not been able to get the Weather docklet feed to work for my location, Canberra, Australia. Reading through the forums to find similar issues I have followed advice provided such as reinstalling, checking firewall settings, checking location references etc but all to no avail. I have also tried other locations within Australia (major cities) and also tried locations close to where I live and all those feeds work without any problems in the Docklet.

I know that the accuweather feed for Canberra is working as I have it set up in my firefox 3 addon forecastfox and the feed is working

Can anyone provide any advice on this issue and hopefully?

Hiya fellow Canberran... try entering Canberra, Australia (Australian Capital Territory) into the docklet options.

Thanks for the quick reponse, I just tried your suggestion but ObjectDock suggests its not a valid location.

The free version has a bug.  It'll be addressed when teh Plus version goes gold.  Until then you can 1) upgrade; 2) find a "close enough" city; or 3) suffer without.   :NOTSURE:

I was using the free version to determine if I wanted to upgrade to Plus and was concerned that the Weather Docklet issue may be a problem in the Plus version.
