Genesis Rising Installation Problem...for Stardock staff

Corrupt extraction

Every time I try to install this from Impulse I get a corrupt extraction error which takes the whole of Impulse out and sends an error report to MS. I've tried cancelling it and completely redownloading it 2 or 3 times. I've emptied all of the support directories program data / temp and XML stuff to no avail. Lastly, the error log is particularly useful saying the following:

Any ideas how I can actually install this?

I am getting the exact same problem. I posted a message about it, but no reply yet.

I second this!
I've been unable to update Genesis Rising for, well since starting to use "Impulse".
It's either a "Decompression Error" or "Impulse has encountered an error...".
Really annoying. With all this annoying connectivity one would assume that there would at least be an option
to send an error report directly to stardock!

Cheers,

Thirded - same problem here.

I too am a bit surprised not to be able to find a bug report function anywhere in the Impulse client.

Come on Stardock! Impulse Phase 2 may be sucking up a lot of time right now, but until then you have customers out of pocket and at least mildly annoyed that they can't play the game they just bought.

I am also getting the same error. I have redownloaded the program 3 times now with a decompression error every time. Does stardock check these files before they place them into the server for us to download?

Stardock can you check the Genesis Rising files on your server to see if the files are corrupt? I downloaded another game just after the Genesis Rising file and it can be decompressed without any errors. Thanks.

I e-mailed the support address right after my post, wasn't sure which one would get the fastest reply to the problem.

Awaiting response e-mail from stardock on the status of the problem. Thanks.
