Ze Bug! Ze Bug!

Autosaves gone awry

First off, I am going to preface this by saying that I have my autosaves set to each turn.

Has anyone else had problems with things rearranging when you return to your autosaves?  I've had a few crashes (on separate campaigns), and when I've went back, things are a bit different.  For instance, last night I crashed around Week 37 (I had a commanding lead at this point.)  When I returned to my game, it went to the same week I was on, however, Texas was suddenly pink and I had lost Kansas before either my opponent or I did a thing.  I had both of these states blue for weeks, so this was a bit odd.  Also my lead in the elector vote had decreased by around 60.  Is this supposed to happen?

The computer opponent never sleeps.....it paid off the pollsters and hoped you wouldn't notice. It underestimated you. Just simply file a complaint with the FEC. LOL

LOL That's what I had to tell myself. It was one of those rare occurrences, like New Hampshire in this past Democratic Primary

Please check in Impulse to verify you have the newest version of Political Machine 2008.

If you haven't updated, please update and then try loading your game and see if it looks ok when you load it.

If that does not load right, try starting a new game, and then saving and loading it somewhere in the middle of the game.  If it does not match up (or you already have the most recent version of the game), please send your saved game to support@stardock.com, with a description of what happened.  Please include your debug.err file as well.  (in my documents/my games/polmachine2008)

We'll take a look at it and see if we can't find out what happened.

Thanks.
