Please Release SoaSE on PS3

With Keyboard and Mouse Support.

This would be the biggest coup in the history of console gaming.  I know Stardock is a PC gaming company, but man.  Playing this game on my 46 inch Bravia in living room > sitting hunched at my 24 inch widescreen in the dark, lonely computer room.  Plus it would make the gf happy.  Please!

Simple solution: put a computer in the livingroom. :)

ouch, but yes, if you want to see this game like that just hook your computer to your tv, I can't think of any modern widescreen that doesn't let you do that

And 24 inches isn't small BTW.

15.4" laptop screen here...

I have a 1400 x 900, but I don't know the screen size, maybe a quick pythag would help me if I had a ruler.

relax, I have a 14" and its not a laptop

No,no dumbed down control or console interface for Sins.

Hence,no Sins for PS3.PS3 has enough games anyway.

Stardock/Ironclad should probably release it for PS3 just to make some $$$. If I were the CEO, I would definitely look into doing that and I wouldn't blame them at all. Game programmers gotta eat. However, a part of me hopes that they won't do it because it increases the chances that they'd succumb to consolitus and that any Sins sequels would end up watered down with cutesy graphics, less content, and a horrible consolized user interface and online multiplayer menu. (Consolitus killed the otherwise very promising Unreal Tournament 3 game and UT3 is now regarded as a pathetic joke and an Epic Failure in the greater UT99 and UT 2004 communities.)

I have a hard time imagining how you would control SINS on a PS3. Without a mouse and keyboard, I would find playing RTS games in general "difficult to control".

As for your 46" TV, I doubt SINS would look that "awesome" on it. A 1080p HDTV with a screen size that big doesn't offer that fine of a detail resolution. I tend to think of it as having a 800 x 600 resolution on a 24" LCD monitor. You can start to make out the pixels. :)

If it were as easy as just 'releasing it' for wildly disparate systems, every software would run on everything :p

Hey you gotta spend money to make money.
am i right guys?????

Anyways as stated before you can most likely just hook up your computer to your TV depending on how old it is maybe but there are a few different hookups you can use.

simply enough if you have the right hookups

The PS3 would be a good choice since a mouse/keyboard combo on a PS3 is as easy as plugging it in. I doubt it would happen but would be nice.

How do you play RTS on a console? You don't!

You can do the same thing for XBox360 and Wii, they all have USB ports.

though this would be cool it would take years to make. I mean civilization revolution is coming out for the consoles. But it was built from the ground up as a console game so idk. And I would have never gotten any idea as to how it could posibbly go on a console. And it might not be as impossible as people think I never played it but Lord of the rings: Battle for middle earth 2 came out for the xbox 360 and the reviews didn't complain about the playability.

This is what I did. PC hooked to 56" tv with massive speakers. Beats the hell out of any standard monitor setup.

In honesty, I don't think it would really help Stardock sales to put it on the PS3. There are like only two PS3 RTS games currently released.

Plus, I think if they were to do it, going Xbox 360 would make most sense - biggest online community, console-wise. Not to mention the Xbox 360 outsells the PS3 in the U.S. at least.

But, IMO, it should stay a PC exclusive, simply because it is an RTS. RTS on console sounds yucky.

If it did go on a console which I doubt it would probably be for both 360 and PS3 maybe wii unless Microsoft payed for exclusivity and I don't think this is mac compatible so it may already be microsoft only.

Leave the TV free for someone else while you are playing games - my finace won't let me play games and have the TV (unless Xbox 360 is on, and then I have to time it right...)

Speaking of consles and RTS. I'm really surprised no one really explored the possiblity of releasing any on the Nintendo DS. I'd think it would be the best thing for an RTS other than a computer.
