Blinds won't change the skin

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or if the topic has been asked on the same page but I'm in a rush as I have to go out soon so I don't have the time to look. Anyway, I reformatted my PC today and I reinstalled Blinds, no problems there, however when I go to apply a skin it doesn't actually change it, all it does is change it to the old '98 theme. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Blinds, tried rebooting etc but this problem still occurs. With all skins as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Install Stardock Central or Impulse and update WindowBlinds to the latest version. Post your System Info after updating.

Try applying Aero then restart the machine. After that try applying a theme.

Aero comes on XP?
(I see no "Vista" designation in the above)

Windows XP Style will work for XP of course. The "not basic" version of Windows.
