Add Custom Recycle Bin (OD v1.90 Plus)

I'd like to create a custom Recycle Bin - the same as I have on my Start Menu (it opens full screen and has the folders on the left side of the screen). The default in OD v1.90 Plus is not full screen and has the "Other Places" and "Details" panes on the left side of the screen).

I have successfully created the custom Recycle Bin, but can not get the two Recycle Bin icons (full and empty) associated with the customized Recycle Bin. I place the following in the Target box in my Start Menu shortcut to get this customization:

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e, ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

How do I add the two recycle bin icons?

Thanks,

Paul

I too would like to know how to create a dual-stage icon, like the Recycle Bin. I have searched most resources in IconDeveloper, and find no info on this topic.

right click on your dock recycle bin

dock entry properties

change the full/empty images to what you want

Sorry that didn't help #:( .

I want to create a custom Recycle Bin using the followiing link:

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e, ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

which creates a customized Recycle Bin in my Start Menu.

When I use the above target, I do not get the choice of two recycle bins!

Thanks,

It's a limitation of what you're doing.  Your just placing a single icon on your start panel that acts as a shortcut to your existing recycle bin.  What's on your start panel isn't an active recycle bin it's a static icon.  I'm not aware of any means of placing an active recycle bin on an windows XP start panel.

Wish you luck in your search, though.  You might find a means somewhere.
