bootskin 1.05a other versions?

i see lots of threads about issues much like mine but not any that answer my questions
i have installed 1.05a and every time it boots i get error and it reboots, i have to go to safe mode and disable bootskin to get into windows.
lots of post refer to other versions (3 total) that one of them should work or you just cant do anything, but i dont see anywhere that there is any other version. what are they? what should i look for?

System:
Windows XP SP3
installed
windowblinds 6.10 enhanced (works)
Logonstudio (works)
bootskin 1.05a (broken)


almost got my system customized all the way like i want but missing this one step.

If you install impulse there's one there as well v1.09, without starting impulse it was updated just recent so if you find 1.05 plays games it's there if you want to try it,it works fine with my comp yet all the previous versions won't.
