Regarding Single-Width Docks.

or; just a little confused.

So this morning I finally decided I wanted to try the new version of Vienna, and consequently it means I have to make all the pretties match. Of course, that meant I had no choice but to use the wonderful dock backgrounds Messiah1 made to go along with it (they're great looking, BTW, Messiah1).

However, looking at his preview got me to thinking. I've always liked the look in his previews of the single-width tabbed dock that rather than opening horizontally, opens vertically. So I spent a while searching the ObjectDock forum posts, and haven't found anything telling me how to duplicate that look. I played around with OD+ for a while, and couldn't figure it our myself.

So, like a n00b, I turn to you fine folks for help. How do I create a tabbed dock that works vertically as in Messiah1's preview rather than horizontally like a normal tabbed dock works? :P

Make a tabbed dock with a single tab, place it at the top or bottom of the desktop, put your cursor at the corner of the dock and you should get a 'resizing' handle.

Make the dock narrower (one icon width) and long enough to have all your docks in one vertical row.

Man, that was easy. I feel even more n00bish now. ;)

Thanks, gentlemen! Much appreciated.
