Activation problem

Now it's getting really, really annoying... :-(

After the support team had reset my account (see mail)

Hi,

I've reset your activation count.

If you retain the sig.bin file in your product directory, you should not need to activate again (unless you reinstall windows).

Cheers,

I checked, if the sig.bin file was present in the WB6 directory. It was!
But hey, surprise, surprise! When i tried to activate a style, the activation window appeared again. So what, I tried activating again; but this time I got a message, that activation could not write the file. After several tries it now says maximum activations reached, again!

Can anybody help?
A desperate owner of WB6, who cannot use it!

Joerg.

I have cleared your activation again. If you are manually activating the sig.bin file should be named sig6.bin. If you like you can send in the activation request to support and we can manually run it for you.

I bought Windowblinds from the stardock website on Monday night, but I've used my maximum activations because I've tried installing and uninstalling it so many times due to it reverting to that Windows classic mode

I've got it to work on occasions, but this morning I noticed it had gone back to normal (Windows Classic) mode, so I was trying to install it to fix it again, but got "maximum activations used" when I tried to. Anyway I can get my activations reset?

Thanks in advance

Thx again.

On my second PC, Windows XP, insatllation and activation went fine with Impulse. WB6 up and running :-)

Unfortunetaley, on my main PC with Windows Vista 64 the problem is still the same.
WB6 installation is fine, and I think activation is done. Please see activation.log:

Application start: 2008-6-4 9.24.30

Mode 1, short info

Submitting activation request...

Download: success

Activation result: 1

Product successfully activated

Using silent activation with null serial mode.

Sig6.bin (1 Kb) is present.

But when I try to apply a style in WB Configuration, activation window pops up again.
After filling in the data, it says 'file cannot be wrtitten' or something alike, and now again 'maximum activations reached'.

Maybe a Vista issue?
