Problems with the start menu

I have recently purchased Object Dock Plus and am pretty happy with it.  However, sometimes, when I try to use the Start Menu button the Start Menu flashes and I get this message - "Start Menu helper file was injected but failed to take effect".   I have had the Start Menu work properly so I'm not sure just what the problem is.  I can, of course, redisplay the task bar and use the Start button, but I'm trying to do away with the task bar.

Also, I have one application (RSSBandit) which I keep running in the system tray, which will not accept a double click to activate.  I can only activate the application by redisplaying the task bar.

In regard to prior messages, add me to the list of those who would like to be able show the system tray AND minimized windows in a single dock.

Also, regarding OD 2.0.  Are you going to have circular and curved menus just like Windows 7 appears to going to have?

Thanks to anyone who has some suggestions.

while you're waiting for a fix...

copy to notepad:

set wShell=wscript.createobject("wscript.shell")
wShell.sendkeys "^{ESC}"

save as a .vbs (like start.vbs) point a shortcut to it

Sorry, Bichur, that I didn't get back to you on this suggestion until now. I'm not sure which of the above problems this is designed to fix/help with.

I guess one should never put more than one problem in a post at at a time. LOL.

Thanks,

Bob

Yep. That's exactly how I feel, too. I love the product and I am trying to get rid of the Windows Task bar... but I am also having the stupid message about the start menu.

Thanks very much for the workaround, bichur! I really appreciate it, but I really hope the developers fix this bug. It's annoying.
