I managed to ascend and quite frankly the movie sucked...too similar to tech victory and didn't give you that sense of achievement. I would have liked a bit of smug power wielding with the races bowing down before me and submitting to my wonderful power...ahem... :D

I Ascended on Evil. Is there a different ending if you Ascend with a different Ethical stance?

I doubt it. Zoom in on crystal; person bathing in like. That sort of thing?

I asked about your stance because of "I would have liked a bit of smug power wielding with the races bowing down before me and submitting to my wonderful power." It struck me that that wasn't a Good -- or even a Neutral sentiment. ;) :)
