uninstall problems

I need help!  I am trying to uninstall icon packager and the file iprepair.dll denies me access.  Any folder linked with that file will not let me remove it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

what version of IconPackager?

If 3.xx you can try renaming iprepair.dll to iprepair.bak and log off then on

or

see if unregistering the iprepair.dll fixes it:

Start> Run> type in:

regsvr32.exe /u "c:\program files\stardock\object desktop\iconpackager\iprepair.dll"

End of quote

Since you have an up to date account it is likely to be a version 4.

Please try Bichur suggestion if you get the same error message when trying to uninstall through Impulse.

If that dose not work you can try the zapper. It was written some time ago and I have not yet been able to see if it works on the IP4 update but I can't see any harm in trying. You can find it here:

Rather provide a proper app to remove any selected Stardock app, and restore to Windows default.
