cpu usage - system lags

After installing KeepSafe 2.0 a week ago, not once has it ever let my system use less than 50% of my cpu.  This is no fun as it make loading large VS2005 projects even slower.   I have let it run overnight several nights in case it is busy with something... but it just lags the system.  As soon as I choose to unload KepSafe, the cpu is freed up and the machine springs back to it's snappy self.

Can you post a screenshot of Taskman showing KeepSafe?

What are you system specs?  OS?  Do you have Keepsafe watching many directories or directories that are getting lots of updates?

It is watching "My Documents" and "C:\dev" code trees. I have let it run overnight a few times and looked at it first thing in the morning to see it still at 50%. I can't imagine anything in those folders is being updated overnight.

(I am a bit of a noob on this, but I don't have a web sight to set the URL for a screen shot inclusion in this message)

In lieu of a screen shot of Task Manager, I am looking at it and it says keepsafe.exe is sitting at 47 to 50 in the CPU column and Process Explorer says the same for cpu usage.

After letting in run overnight days on end, I give up. Uninstalling has removed the 50% cpu drain on my system and I will live without this tool.

Buddy . . did you email support@stardock.com for official support?

I may yet do that, but when I am slightly less "under the gun" at work... likely two more weeks of high stress right now.

But I appreciate the suggestion... I do like the product concept and think if I can get it to play nice, it will be a very nice backup for my project docs and code source.
