Meh, confusing.

Need Technical Support

Hello, i used to have galactic civlizations II installed on my computer, then i lost the disk, no problem right?
That's when my computer hard drive crashed. o_o;
So it got it up again it's been like few months but that's not the problem, my problem is i need help finding a way to install galciv2 without the disks.. i've been trying stardockcentral but it's not working, i got my serial number from my email and then entered it with the galciv2 choice in the mygames section and tried registering it with the serial number i got in the e-mail but it's not working, it just goes through it says that i can now click the various sections to access applications for the network i have registered or the enhanced version of a stand-alone product, but that's all i'm getting,
i've checked in stardock central for a way to install it but it's not coming up, any help please?
And as you can see i'm not so good with technical stuff. -.-;

Okay I'll try a little bit. Has GCII ever shown up in SDC? If so, then if it isn't right now, it means most likely you are not logged in to your stardock.net account. Have you tried using Impulse? That might work if you can't get SDC working. Here is a link to download and install Stardock's Impulse. WWW Link

You will have to set it up with your Stardock.net password. It will also want to update itself after the install -- let it. If you can log into your account with Impulse you should find it will allow you to re-install GCII>

My suggestion would be to try Impulse to see if that helps.
