some minor issues regarding DL

I'm not sure if there's anyone else playing just plain DL, but I do (v1.50.135) and here are some things I've noticed. Perhaps some of these have already been adressed in DA or TotA...)

In the GNN News Screen there are often missing planet or ship icons. (I noticed this mostly during late game...)

Same thing in the Civilization Manager screen.

Similar thing with stacked ships.

This happens when attack or defense values get to values of more than 3 digits (not sure if it is a bug).

After loading a savegame the tile placement and tile descriptions do not match the landscape. [In the below picture please notice that not only the tiles are arranged randomly, but also the marked water-tile is described as desert and overmore the description picture shows green grass... ;)]

This time after the random 'our leader got assasinated on your planet and therefore we must declare war on you'-event I've noticed that the new leaders name (which is ALWAYS Azurelas??) was already filled into the Foreign Policy Screen, but the relation factors still said "Too busy to risk war with us". [Btw, I remember a game when this or a similar event happened twice and both new leaders were called Azurelas... :SURPRISED:]

Not quite sure if this is just my problem understanding the game, but in the Minor Races Section of the Foreign Policy Screen the below marked explanation shows up (always?), suggesting I should spend some cash on espionage. Since I think you cannot spy out the minors, this means...nothing?

The last 2 screenshots are graphic glitches I encounter from time to time, especially in late game and/or after reloading. This is the minimap in the Civilization Manager...

...and these are the time line charts in the main screen.

Hope that helps,
swh.

I have a few more points, but this time without screenshots - I promise.

A:
I noticed the same message about advancement in espionage towards some race popping up twice in consecutive turns. This happens in ~50% of the cases an advancement takes place, regardless which race is concerned.
[Besides, if I start espionage on multiple races the same turn to the same degree (BC), these steps will happen EXACTLY in the same turn until 'advanced' is finally reached. Call me dumb, but this sucks. There should be at least some minor element of chance in that...]

B:
In the Negotiations Screen the terran ambassador once suggested to 'quietly supply arms and ships to all races currently at war with the fierce Drengins' (or something like that). Sadly, he was talking to the only race *existing* besides his own and the Drengin, and there were no wars going on at this time...

C:
If you chose neutral alignment one of the effects should be to have all starbase upgrades instantly available, once they are researched, iirc. This works for weapon upgrades (Ship Pounder, Star Javelin, ...), but doesn't work for defenses (Ray Shielding, Combat Armor, ...)

D:
There are descriptions to 'wonders' that do not match their real effects (especially MCC), but I think you know by now... ;)

E:
A few times I noticed different values for remaining build time for a planetary improvement (Colony Screen vs. Civilization Manager).

F:
When entering the window for upgrading a ship, you are not only able to upgrade an existing (undamaged!) vessel to EXACTLY the same ship type, but this also costs you money and time...

Thanks again,
swh.

Many to most have been fixed in later versions. You may luck out and have them ported to DL 2.0, but I suggest you abandon your Luddite ways and come to DA, if not TA.

Found this one in my actual game - don't know how to decide... ;)

Here's a missing "Done" or "Close" text for a button...

Me, i play only TA and i haven't seen anything like this in my games.

Yes, I do have the latest version and drivers...

This is an effort to get SD to fix some issues in DL that obviously have already been fixed in the other versions.
