Cheat Trigger in TA games with custom races?

My wife made a custom race for me to play against and for some strange reason it's putting up the cheat message even though it's a custom race just made in the game.  Anyone else seen this?

Also - how strict is Metaverse now for custom races?  Does it accept negative modifers to abilties?  The values don't still get scrambmled when the game is launched do they (they used to do this in DA)?

It's strongly advised to not try hand-editing the races for metaverse play. As to the one made in-game that is having trouble, try clearing it and recreating it again.

These were just created in-game. My wife made a race (opponent) and it kept triggering the cheat flag. Maybe it was because we tried to give them 200% finances (in the game you can adjust the % slider for finances relative to your own...)
