Is there a research tree map anywhere?

Has anyone created a research tree map for Sins?

As a new player, I find myself struggling to understand the implications and requirements of the various choices - and then there are times, such as when I want to increase fleet capacity and am told it requires research into Telepathic Signalling, when that technology simply doesn't appear to exist in my research trees- either in those available or those I have to do further research to get.

Aside from tutorials, which are tedious when what you want is the answer to a specific question, there doesn't appear to be any in-game help. Or am I missing something?

IIRC, Telepathic Signalling is the actual name of one of the Supply Upgrades. Go to the third tab and mouse over them to see their names. Fleet Capacity and Capship crews both only allow you to upgrade one tier at a time - you cannot skip tiers, so probably you had enough resources to buy, say, Tier 4, so it LOOKED like you could buy it, but you hadn't purchased Tier 3 yet.

There is lots of ingame help but Sins is such a broad game that you'd require a whole encyclopedia in the engine in order to be able to reference it all. You may wish to check out one of the Sins Wikis like SOASEwiki.com.

I found the following link very helpful, if you don't mind toggling between game and internet. I just printed the tree and made notes on it as I haven't found anything better.
