New Distinct main Ship Components for each Race

Twilight of the Arnor is a fantastic game....I could waste hours on it....

I love the whole new unique tech for each race but i wish that all the races didn't use the same weapon, engine, sensor, defence components...I think all engineers from each race had there own imagine of how lasers should look even there are called Kinetic stream from the Iconeans.

For the races to be truly unique we need new ship components for each race stardock. Along with any bug fixes ofcourse...

If any of the community are artist unlike myself..come up with all the weapons and post them... Im sure someone can pull this off.

Thanks

Yes because people are going to spend vast amounts of time making models for things that you only ever see once or twice per ship design, and even then only for a few seconds each time.

Have you ever zoomed in to see your ship...are your settings on high. DO u have any idea what i just said. It ruins the sense of realism in different race techs. If you didnt have anything constructive to say just dont say anything at all. Its all about realism. Dont get in the way of me trying to make this game better.

If it bothers you that much, just shrink the components as small as you can, and design your ships in a way that fits the style you have in mind.

Here's two shots from two different in-work frigates I have.

The Terran 'Stiletto':

The Drath 'Ketaka':

The Drath ship looks a little 'busy' without being able to rotate and see the full shape of it...

Regardless, I decided that my Terran ships will use drive-systems that are more blocky, somewhat more conventional-looking. The shape of the engines on the Stiletto was inspired somewhat by the Frigates from Homeworld.

The Drath, on the other hand, use large reactor chambers. Some are more centrally-mounted instead of being so close to the thrust nozzles, but it's a prominent feature of them nonetheless.

Are you going to tell me that these look anything alike?

This is cool.. i guess shrinking them pretty much solves my problem to some extent. Thanks
