Cross-language compatibility?

Can I use different versions together?

I have the original GC2 that I bought in the UK, though because of *Enter bad excuse here* I haven't got any of the two expansion packs yet.

Now I wan't to buy them but since I won't be going to the UK again in the foreseeable future it's costly to get the UK expansion packs. I'm studying in Germany but am originally Dutch (Long Story). So it will be the easiest to get either of those versions. Now since I'm a bit 'old-fashioned' in the gaming sense I like to have the games on my shelf and don't really like digital downloads.

For my question; which version(s) is/are compatible with my UK GC2? (It's the collecter's edition, for if that makes a difference.)

Moreover, if digital download is the only way which can I use? Stardock/Steam?

Well, only GC2 was available at retail in Europe. And TotA isn't available at retail at all. So, unless you want to pay shipping and handling costs from US, digital downloads through Stardock Central/Impulse is the only way available. And it doesn't matter which version of GC2 you have since you will need to upgrade it to the latest available version to play the extensions.

I see, thanks.
Well in that case: Yeah for the expansion bundle and low dollar! ;)
