So no way to have as system tray?

Even though my Object Dock Plus has a box to check to have the system tray icons in a dock, it doesn't work. Is this a problem with my own alone or with the program itself? And is there any other way to get the system tray to not be on the taskbar (I would like to permanently hide it)?

What OS are you using?

What versions of Object Dock Plus?

I'm on an XP system and use OD Plus. I use a tab dock to show the system tray. I can get the system tray icons to show in a zoomer dock without any problems.

Have you tried searching the forums for posts with similiar problems?

I don't think you can elimate the system tray from the Windows taskbar, I could be wrong. You can limit them to only showing active. You can use OD Pluse to hide the taskbar. I just click on the taskbar and under properties click hide taskbar. If something goes wrong with OD Plus you will always have the Windows Taskbar to fall back to that way.

In Vista taskbar properties/notification area/customize, you can show, hide, or hide when inactive. I don't have OD+,sorry I can't help there.

With ObjectDock Plus it's very easy to get rid of your Windows taskbar. You can setup multiple separate docks with whatever components you want. You can then disable the Windows taskbar. In the screenshot below I have separate docks for my Start menu, taskbar programs and systray...

Go to stardock central, choose tools, settings, general, and choose Enable MCP notification area support. This may help.

No matter how much I tried to uninstall (deleted entries from regedit), downloaded other copies of ObjectDock Plus 1.9 534u version and reinstall, the system tray does not apear at all (I tried tabbed docks, simple zoomer docks, everything you can imagine)... I don't know what to do... Does anyone have a solution for this problem??
I'm using WinXP SP2

Thank in advance
